CHARON: New Music Posted Online

Finland's CHARON have posted one-minute MP3 clips of two new tracks on their official web site at this location. "In Trust Of No One" and "Death Can Dance" come off the group's new single, due on May 12 through Spinefarm Records.

CHARON have spent the past few months recording their fourth full-length album at BRR Studios in their hometown of Raahe and are scheduled to begin mixing the effort on May 5 at Helsinki's Finnvox Studios. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to the excellent "Downhearted", which debuted at position #3 on the Finnish album charts upon its release a year ago, will include a guest appearance on backing vocals by NIGHTWISH/ex-SINERGY bassist Marco Hietala and Jenny Heinonen. The latter had performed a similar role on the group's last two albums, "Downhearted" and 2000's "Tearstained".
